“Crazy Eddie” The Final Chapter

I’m 27. Single. Woman of God.  Believer in the Christian faith.  But the men I meet? Boy oh boy!

If you’ve been following my blog these past few weeks, then you have already heard about Crazy Eddie.  (If you missed Parts 1, 2 and 3, catch up here).

So, the next day is officially Valentine’s Day.  I’m talking to my homegirl on the phone as I drive to work, telling her all about Crazy Eddie and how he must’ve finally gotten the point because I hadn’t heard from him.

I pull into the parking lot, turn my car off and tell my girl bye.  Next thing you know my whistle tone goes off signaling I have a new text message. Hmm. It’s 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning, who could this be?

I open up the phone and it’s none other than “Crazy Eddie”.  He sends me a picture of his chest all oily and what not and the picture is framed in a Valentine’s day border with the words, “Be My Valentine” on the bottom of it…

You know what…I’m going to do something different.  Instead of me telling this story, I’m actually just going to post screenshots of our text conversation that  morning right here lol.  This way you can see the crazy ish I deal with on a regular. I’ll blur out the pictures because I’m a nice person, plus, as the conversation goes on, the pictures change from PG to Rated R.   Are you ready? Haha. Here it goes..

.The picture he sent here was of his chest (smh). I’ve covered it up here with something that really makes me smile – a gingerbread man lol.

I did not include the picture he sent me here because it was a picture of his penis!!!! Yes, you read correctly, his penis!!! This 29 year-old BOY was so upset that I did not want to talk to him, that he sent me a picture of his penis with the caption “Your lost”. First of all, I believe he meant to say, “your loss” (smh). Shows that not only is he childish, immature, inappropriate, and crazy but also that he cannot spell.

Whew. Crazy huh?! SMH.  After that conversation, I blocked his number using the infamous block call app, Mr. Number and guess what? I have not heard from Eddie again. 🙂  Guess Eddie afraid of the po-po’s.

Haha.  And that is how I officially got rid of Crazy Eddie!

Thank you to all of my readers for reading this short series on Crazy Eddie.  Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I continue to share stories of my other crazy dating experiences and my thoughts on dating in general.

Be blessed! Muah :-*

  1. First, let me say bravo to you for sharing. These post were hilarious and I enjoyed reading each of them. I often ask myself questions after various situations, some similar to yours and I’d like to pose one of them to you.

Could you have done something differently?

It’s not a fun question, but it’s something I ask myself in hopes of doing things differently or finding an easier way to handle a tough situation.

    1. Thank you so much for your comments. Could I have done something differently? But OF COURSE! (haha). The biggest thing is praying for discernment earlier on when I meet someone. The only interaction this guy and I had were through text/phone but it could’ve been that God didn’t even want me to give him my number in the first place. PLUS, when he started showing his crazy ways, I should’ve deleted and blocked him then. I can own up to my mistakes in this situation. But instead of beating myself up, I channel all of that energy into my blog posts in hopes that someone else doesn’t make those same mistakes (even though the story was still pretty hilarious haha). I mean that’s really all apart of life’s experiences. You learn from your mistakes and do your best not to repeat them. That’s what I’m doing now :). I’m so glad you enjoyed the post and I’m also appreciative of your question. As Christians, we are to hold each other accountable and I welcome and need that in my life because I’m definitely not perfect 🙂

(Oh and sorry for the delayed response…I’ve taken some me time these past few months and now I’m back to writing.)
